How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
Honestly, nothing. The first room had cockroaches and they moved us to another, which was really an old room that did not meet the contracted specifications. The ceiling lamp didn’t work, there were hairs when opening the bed, the wall had peeling decorative paper, the doors were wooden, old, and the latch was just a simple bolt.

A great base for one night to visit the Valley of the Fallen. The restaurant opposite was a definite plus. For 25 euros a wonderful menu with entrecôte and friendly service. The receptionist could have been friendlier. The village of San Rafael was also pretty okay. At checkout no one was present, but we had to leave, and we left the key at the desk.

The spot is spot on, surrounded by nature with hiking trails that start right off the big house. The whirlpool tub in the premium room worked great. Overall, the value for money isn’t bad given the setting. The facilities and front desk look pretty old and worn out. Even though we booked a premium room, the heating was faulty, and there were no extra blankets or bedding to keep warm. The pillow was super uncomfortable and low quality. The dining area is noisy, and there's a lot of general clatter. Breakfast was pretty lame—just bread, coffee, and some ham, no fruit or variety; you’d be better off paying more for a decent option. It feels like a venue for events or weddings with the hotel in decline.

The location and neighborhood were good and quiet, and the TV with internet connection in the room was decent.
