“We loved it and the location was prime”
The apartment was beautifully set up, complete with Superbocks in the fridge. We really enjoyed it!

Nestled in a 17th‑century building, Belomonte 22 Apartments blend original beams and stone walls with contemporary design. Located six minutes from Ribeira Square and the Douro River, the studios feature large windows, wooden floors, private bathrooms, and kitchenettes with free olive oil, vinegar, and teas. Some rooms overlook Porto Cathedral, and a terrace offers city views. Nearby, São Bento Station, shops, restaurants, and bars provide convenient access.

The location is excellent, very central for those who want to be in the historic area. The acoustic isolation is weak; keeping the original construction is incompatible with an acceptable noise level… It’s hard to have a peaceful night’s sleep. It’s not suitable for people with physical limitations – the stairs are steep and there is no elevator. There’s very little space to store clothes. The crockery is scarce but acceptable if breakfast is taken elsewhere.

A very nice apartment in the historic district of Porto, built in the appropriate style. Online communication was very good. Questions and requests were answered immediately. We received helpful tips and a small snack and two small beers were prepared for us. During the night it was sometimes very loud because we had to sleep with the windows open due to the rainstorm. But if you want to live in the city center you almost have to expect that.

The place is very well located, and the owners were always ready to answer any questions.

I chose this spot because the location is great, and I'm happy I did. The building is old, but the furnishings are excellent and everything stays very clean, with towels and a small kitchen stocked with utensils. The only minor gripe is the pillows, which is a personal issue, and there’s no air‑conditioning, though the thick stone walls keep the room fairly cool.
