I loved the dining room, the vibe of the shared spaces, and the exposed beams giving the place an industrial feel – it was really lovely. The food was fantastic, with tapas‑style dishes that offered something for everyone. My room was small, had no external window, only an internal one that couldn’t be opened or even have the curtains pulled, so it felt a bit stuffy.

The hotel sits right across from Harbourside Wilson Car Park (you get a discount at the front desk when you check in), a light rail station, and is an easy walk to Darling Harbour and the ICC. The rooms are very clean and quaint, and breakfast is excellent – you order from a menu and get two drinks included. Our room faced the lift, so we had to keep the blind shut. There are better rooms available.

The location was great, close to Market and George Sts., and I loved the Woolshed conversion. It felt a bit cramped.

The old building was lovely, the staff were very polite, and breakfast was awesome. Unfortunately, the toilet and wash basin were blocked on day 2.
