The apartment is very lovingly and authentically furnished. We also enjoyed breakfast on the roof garden. The kind neighbours and nearby farmers, Peter and Bettina from the Allgäu, deserve special mention.

The place offers beautiful views and an unbeatable climate. The house is well‑located, although it sits next to a main road, it didn’t disturb us with any vehicle noise. The layout is good and the interior is warm and pleasant. The hosts supplied a nice selection of local fresh fruit. However, there are aspects of the house that should be in better condition. For example, the sofa emitted an odor that we tried to neutralise with ammonia and fabric deodoriser, but we couldn’t eliminate the smell entirely. Another issue is the bathroom water tap, which is loose and also emits odors that spread throughout the house from the drain. The dish‑washing sponge was dirty, brown, and smelled of bacteria, so we had to buy a new one. The common areas lack maintenance and the furnishings are outdated. The property has great potential if it were kept in full condition.

We booked that room specifically because it had a double bed, but on arrival we were given two single beds and no option to change. In my view, the house needed a bit of refurbishment and cleaning. Otherwise it’s pleasant, with good views and a nice village.

The accommodation isn’t for the discerning, but we were glad to find a reasonable price for a Spanish holiday (the last one). We looked for the ocean with roof terraces. The smell of an old house and cigarette smoke was present, but fortunately ventilation allowed us to sleep. The equipment is very old, the garden is poorly maintained, and the bathroom is tiny.

The views are great (though as the foliage grows they will soon disappear). The option to park close by (even though you have to cross a road) is also interesting. The house lacks maintenance. There’s a broken chair that could be dangerous. Neither of the two trash cans works because the pedal to lift the lid doesn’t function. One lamp bulb was burnt out, and the living room lighting was very poor at night. The sofa bed was uncomfortable (in our case, two teenagers used it). The bathroom drains emit bad odors, forcing you to keep the bathroom door closed so the smell stays in the bathroom and doesn’t spread through the house.
