We had a perfect stay at Matcha Lanta resort – spotlessly clean, super quiet, and a great price. The staff treated us like royalty, and the beach is just 100 m away, with a 7‑Eleven nearby. There are at least three restaurants within a five‑minute walk that serve excellent food. The resort sits right in the middle of the island on a beautiful spot, so we’re definitely coming back.

The rooms have good showers and beds, and everything is nicely set up. The beach is dirty and not great. Worse, the owner had a serious accident the day before we arrived, so the pool was unclean and closed – a major reason we booked there. They offered other village pools, but they were too far to walk.

The place looked brand new and was very clean. Extras like a good laundry service, scooter rental, and quick WhatsApp communication were amazing. I would highly recommend it.
