The room was lovely and the food was delicious, all home‑cooked. It’s a bit out of the way, but that made it very relaxing and peaceful. The beer garden at the back is excellent. The staff were lovely, though my hosts could have been a little friendlier and more welcoming.

The room was very nice. Breakfast was okay and the location is good. We enjoyed a nice evening meal at the pub. There was nothing else that needed mention – the room had everything we required.

A charming traditional inn with good food and friendly staff. The rooms do suffer from bar noise, but that stops after 11 pm.
