“Ok, great location,”

The location was good and Hannah at the bar was a gem, but there were no amenities like a fridge or laundry, which isn’t ideal for people on the Pembrokeshire coast path; the bar staff annoyed me when I asked for ice for my water bottle.

“Basic”

Convenient for the coastal path and the ale was nice, but the place was old‑fashioned, cash‑only, had no car parking, and the busy road made it noisy at night.

“95% excellent.”

I loved my few days there, and hope to be back. The food was very good, and the advice about alternative eating places was also very good. The only criticisms, which I hope will be taken as constructive, are below. Stairs to Rooms 1 & 2: I have a mobility issue, and the handrail was a bit short, although I acknowledge that it was sturdy. Particularly at the top, another 2 feet or so would have been a big help. I came across this problem at my parents' house when my elderly Grannie visited, and it's not easy for able-bodied younger people to realise some of the issues for those with reduced mobility. A chair would also have helped in Room 1 - the window sill was fine as a seat in Room 2.

“Nice place for a one night stay”

Room was clean, shower was great. Food at the pub was fantastic. Steak was amazing. Lovely staff. Comfy bed. Upstairs toilet or water system was very noisy. Kept us awake most of the night as it was noisy every 20 mins. Needs to be looked at. Some noise from the traffic, but not too bad
