“Perfect Stay, No Complaints”
The staff were super friendly and the food was really good. The tours were amazing, with the team going the extra mile to make them interesting. I’d give it a perfect 10—nothing to complain about.
“Best Hotel in Tortuguero”
This hotel is a gem in Tortuguero’s wilderness—huge rooms, excellent facilities, and staff who are always attentive and friendly. The all‑inclusive plan covers tasty breakfasts, lunches, and dinners, plus one Tortuguero excursion and two amazing canal tours. With just 12 private rooms, it feels very exclusive and peaceful. We even had the option to do a night jungle walk from the hotel. Honestly, we couldn’t find a better place in Costa Rica.
“Spacious Rooms, Poor Welcome”
The basics were all covered and the rooms were spacious. However, the communication was awful—no one was there to greet us when we arrived, which was a major let‑down.
“Great Rooms, Great Tours, Breakfast Lacking”
The rooms were spacious and the location was great. The tours were top‑notch and the guides were super helpful. The only downside was the breakfast, which left a bit to be desired.
“Intimate Boat‑Arrival Getaway”
Arriving by boat was a unique experience, and the boutique hotel only has 12 rooms, which keeps it intimate. They organized a two‑night stay with a village visit and two boat trips into the national park canals, all guided by knowledgeable staff. The pool is nice, the team is friendly, and the all‑inclusive meals are solid. If you have time, add an extra night for a walking tour.
