We had a wonderful stay at Agriturismo Scalelle and would sincerely like to thank them for their hospitality, friendliness, and professionalism. The setting is beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by olive trees and open countryside. We especially loved the lights among the olive trees at night and the entrance road lined with old trees on both sides, creating a natural green tunnel that gives you a sense of welcome from the moment you arrive. Breakfast was also fresh, generous, and very good. Its location is another great advantage. Being less than ten minutes by car from Otranto made it very convenient for groceries and also allowed us to visit the beautiful city several times during our stay and enjoy its marvelous seafront. What we appreciated most, however, was the kindness and compassion they showed us when we received the sad news that a loved one in our family had passed away during our stay. The empathy and extra care the owners took to make us feel comfortable meant a great deal to us. Scalelle feels like a little lost piece of heaven, both for people and for animals. We would gladly return and recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful place in Puglia where hospitality still feels personal and sincere.
