The reception was friendly and the bedding was good. However, the cleanliness was lacking—dust everywhere, the bathtub had no drain, and the soaps left in the shower gave the impression that previous guests had left them. The breakfast was awful, with subpar Lidl croissants and half‑fresh bread. The tea was in sachets, but it was impossible to tell what type because the labels were removed. Overall, it’s not a matter of not wanting to run a hotel, but it’s a profession that can’t be improvised. It’s a shame because the place is charming.
