The place is in a great spot and the rooms are solid. The only downside was the construction noise from the builders next to the hotel.

We had to switch rooms because the shower had a water leak, but the staff handled it quickly and were friendly. The breakfast could have been better; once the coffee machine was empty during the breakfast hour.

Getting to the Galataport cruise ship terminal is easy, and the tram stop nearby lets you reach all the main sights in Istanbul on foot.

The location is decent, but the suite behind the hotel overlooking the garden was dirty and poorly maintained, and getting there from the entrance to the back was awkward. The staff were average—some would knock and open the door while you’re still sleeping without warning, and that happened to me twice. The rooms facing the street were fine; the back ones were cleaner but still not great.
