I was looking for a spot near the train station, and this place was almost within walking distance. The location was great and the host was very kind when she arrived on day two. I liked learning more about this older building that the host is working hard to preserve. The deposit process is a bit too complicated, especially for those of us with overseas bank accounts. I own several AirBnB properties back home, and I felt this place would suit AirBnB better than Booking, where the expectation is an established hotel or guest house with onsite staff. A card reader and onsite staff during the 5 o’clock check‑in would be a smart investment so guests can manage their security deposits more safely.

Clean rooms, very friendly staff, and great location. The deposit was returned instantly. Highly recommend.

The place is close to Piotrkowska, so near the city center; it was tidy even though the building looks old from the outside. The owner kindly provided earplugs for the youth noise, which I didn’t use but it shows she cares about guest comfort. Contact with the owner was smooth. I still have to pay a damage deposit, but the owner sent a confirmation of the transfer and returned the full deposit after my stay. It was fine overall; the only thing missing was a iron, and the boiler was turned on too late, so I had to wait a bit for hot water, but the next day it heated quickly, so I recommend turning it on right after check‑in.

I was shocked to see a deposit higher than the room rate and it never got refunded because a strip had peeled off, a fact I only learned three days after checking out. Did they have any photographic evidence? They even accused me of smoking in the room because they found ash on the windowsill—what proof do they have? The place was filthy and the neighbors were incredibly loud at night. Who charges a higher deposit than the nightly rate? This was my first time encountering a deposit. If it were a three‑star hotel, it would simply be a rip‑off.
