Hotel Lübecker Hof

The location is great; a few minutes on foot takes you to Lüneburg’s old town, especially lovely in the evenings, and the Salztherme Lüneburg is also nearby. A fan is provided. The staircase is steep and has several trip hazards because it’s not level but slightly tilted forward. There’s no elevator, and the check‑in is a bit difficult because of the parking situation. The beds and mattresses keep sliding off the bed, so I spent half the night lying in the gap between mattresses to avoid falling out, which was very uncomfortable and only partially worked. I also had a room with slanted ceilings. I’m short, but it was still annoying.

I’m staying at this hotel again. The rooms are always clean, the service is friendly, and the breakfast is good. Thanks to all the staff for their hospitality and communication. I would have liked slippers.

Nothing good. The price‑to‑value ratio is outrageous. For this youth hostel, you pay too much. The facilities and the overall condition of the building look like the early ’70s. NEVER AGAIN.

The bathroom is unusable. The equipment is broken, the hair dryer has no outlet, and it smells extremely like cigarette smoke.

“Einfacheres Hotel in zentraler Lage”

The central location is really great, yet it’s still quiet. Everything worked perfectly from arrival to departure, and the entire staff is very friendly. The room was clean and adequately equipped for an extended city trip. It didn’t bother us personally, but the bathroom was really tiny and the shower had a very high step – we took it in the literal sense of “sporty.” Anyone who needs more space or has some physical limitation might have a problem. Of course we can only speak for our own room and don’t know about others.
