“Get what you pay for, good if your on a budget”

The spot is amazing! The hotel is decent, getting what you pay for, and during peak time in Japan this was a very good price for a private room with this location. The view is lovely! I didn’t like that there were no staff; we were all okay but it would have been nice to have that security of having someone there. Definitely can’t get into the building until after 3. No luggage storage. Rooms are tiny, if you have more than 2 bags I don’t recommend… literally no storage space, so small. But for the price we made it work and it was good.

“Simpel hotel, goede locatie”

The location was really great. In a quiet area, but a fifteen‑minute walk from Asakusa station. Check‑in was easy, despite a small struggle we were helped quickly. Also, getting to the rooms was simple because you just have a code and no card. It was a bit inconvenient reaching the customer service. There was a phone number available but I couldn’t call it, it said the number was not available. However we were still helped politely via chat. There was little service otherwise. Maybe I misunderstood this before booking. Beds were not changed during the stay, towels were not replenished by default. I suspect they do it on request? But that wasn’t clear to me. Beds were not bad but not great either. They could have been a bit softer and the pillows thicker.

The rooms are very small, mine was small, but it was compact and had everything you need. The location is phenomenal. Ueno, Skytree and Asakusa are within walking distance. The room is not automatically cleaned, and the trash is not emptied. You have to request to empty or take it out. Towels are not changed. I was luckily traveling from city to city and didn’t need extras. Check‑in is only possible from 15.00 h. You can’t get into the lobby before that. At least being able to get into the lobby would be helpful.

“Not great”

The shower pressure and temperature constantly changed, which was frustrating. The air conditioning didn’t work properly, making our stay uncomfortable in such a small compact room.

Very tight and compact, there are places to store luggage and bags but the corridor and bed area are extremely small and you practically have to climb over someone just to reach the bathroom.
