“Nice place with good value for money”
The place is great and the historic building is wonderful, but the rooms felt a bit plain and we wished for a double bed, which wasn’t available.

After the last two nuns left in July 2026, the space became a calm sanctuary for others; the room was simple yet had everything we needed, and the varied breakfast with ancient frescos made for a good start. The hostesses were patient and helpful, researching travel questions for us. I hope this Monestaro continues as a place for travelers and seminars—sad to hear the nuns departed. The internet is weak because of thick walls.

The location is super central, the welcome and hospitality during the stay were friendly, and I would recommend it.

The accommodation was very pleasant, centrally located yet quiet, with friendly people and helpful staff, and the breakfast buffet offered fresh fruit. The room was wonderful, and the luggage storage worked perfectly. Thank you!

The building itself is very pretty, but it’s poorly maintained. The rooms are shabby, sparse, and lack comfort.
