“Pleasant and fine.”
The place was quiet, a reasonable walk from the city centre and train station, but our front door made a strange noise and someone kept trying to open it all day and night.

The rooms were brand‑new and spotless, the bed was very comfortable with two pillows, the bathroom was spacious, and because I mentioned it was an anniversary trip they surprised me with an upgrade to a room overlooking the canal.

Everything was perfect, and everything was also not perfect.

The accommodation had a Venetian charm, the breakfast cost €11 per person and was good, it was in a quiet area with a nice vibe, the room was clean, the air conditioning was excellent, and the staff were very helpful with arranging the transfer. The reception desk wasn’t as welcoming as what we had experienced in Greece, and they had previously taken care of our luggage but that could be better; it’s a 25‑30 minute walk to the main part of town.

The location, breakfast, bedding and room size were all great.
