The breakfast took place in a very good bar with a strategic spot.

The staff were very responsive and available, and the place was clean. The Wi‑Fi was down, a bit noisy, but that’s normal for the historic centre.

Nothing in particular. It’s a non‑historic building, no elevator, and climbing the huge stairs to the third floor is a real challenge for anyone with heart problems. The rooms were clean enough, but the awful view of dirty laundry bags stayed with us the whole stay. Luckily we only spent one night there, and the windows opened onto all sorts of decay. The lady who answered the phone was polite at first but then insisted on us leaving the door‑key deposit, as if we had to fit our schedule around the hotel’s needs. No visitors, just one night and that’s it… Except for the bed, the few pieces of furniture in the room, and the bathroom décor, everything was old. There was only one bedside table and a strange shelf on the other side of the bed. The wardrobe was also just a small shelf in a row.

The location was fine. Without any notice they gave us a room without an internal bathroom. The bathroom was outside, two rooms ahead, and it was in rough condition. Call ahead if you book to find out whether the room has an internal or external bathroom.
