Comfortable and quiet accommodation on the outskirts of Faro with a pool and jacuzzi available. I struggled to get into the room because the key fobs weren’t working.

The place was clean but nothing else stood out. When we arrived there was no soundproofing, so we had to endure the noisy neighbors—there were snorers, a whiney router, and doors slamming. The toilet flush was broken, the bathroom bulb had burned out, the shower drain grate kept moving, and the shower glass rubbed against the wall, causing small floods in the cramped shower that made it hard to get in. The sink wasn’t fixed to the cabinet, and there was no wardrobe except a single bar with a few hangers. The electric roller blind didn’t work, so we had to use blackout curtains instead. Part of the TV screen was blocked because it was built into an old wardrobe. Cleaning wasn’t done routinely unless we asked after three days. The door lock stopped working after the third night because it ran on batteries, and at 20:00 that could be troublesome. It wasn’t very serious considering the price per night, even though the flush was fixed and the bulb replaced after we requested it.
