Everything you’d expect from a good B&B is there at this charming place, with a fitting name for its luxurious and spacious feel. The breakfast is extensive, the bed is comfortable (not shared), the shower is very roomy and good, and the peaceful rural setting lets you relax. There’s a large common area on the ground floor and also upstairs, and the rooms have seating areas. The only downside is that the “apartment” on the upper floor is accessed via a somewhat narrow open stairwell with a 90‑degree turn; if you’re not mobile or have a big suitcase, it’s a challenge to go up and down. A ground‑floor room is also available, which avoids that issue.

The place is well maintained, with a large bathroom that’s clean and spacious. The only drawback is there’s no TV, but that’s actually fine.

The beds were tasty, the shower was good, and the breakfast was lovely with a nice lady. We missed an outdoor seat; it was warm and we would have liked to play a game outside at a table in the evening.
