There was no Wi‑Fi, even though it was listed online.
We couldn’t open the lockbox because the owner sent a 4‑digit code, but the lock required 8 digits. After calling with no answer, we waited an hour and a half before receiving an email with the correct 8‑digit number, allowing us to access the box and retrieve our key. No one was around to help.
I cancelled the trip, but the hotel debited the full amount eight days before departure. I find that inappropriate, politely stated.
“Zalig.”
The room was quiet and beautiful, absolutely lovely. The only downside was that no staff were available, and breakfast was missing because the kitchen was closed.
“Alleen een sleutelkast!?”
The bathroom was fine. However, no one was around – no host, no staff, no breakfast. We were the only ones in the building.
