I spent a single night at Best Inn Hotel; the room was a decent size with a comfortable bed, and the receptionist was very friendly and provided excellent service. However, the room wasn’t well maintained and had an unpleasant odor, plus a bad smell drifted in from outside the balcony. The bathroom was also very small, making it a bit uncomfortable. Overall, the staff were great, but the hotel must improve room upkeep and cleanliness.

The location was ideal for exploring the town—neither too close nor too far—and it’s a great budget option: quiet, clean, and better than similar places in the same price range. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Initially, a miscommunication caused a double booking, but the person handling reservations was very understanding and we resolved it without any problems. I’d definitely return if I go back to Jaffna.
