The location, pool, food, and drinks were all good. The internet in my room was unreliable.

The staff were attentive, especially the waiter on the right side, Rafael, who seemed nice and deserved the tip, along with the young blond at the bar in the morning. I was disappointed that there was no snack bar; I had expected something like sweet chips or fruit for the beach, and ice pops. The room wasn’t cleaned well; they left trash on the floor.

The rooms were fine. The hotel got crowded with people from a foundation, making it uncomfortable to be in the pool area and to line up for drinks and food. Most of the waiters and drink servers were grumpy; they should get a raise to be nicer. I paid for a suite with sea view but was given a partial view; I asked for a change and they complied. They were fixing the pool floor every day of my stay. When they cleaned my room, they didn’t leave towels, so I had to ask for them. They also didn’t leave sugar or coffee creamer; I had to request them and they never brought them. This time I didn’t like Ritz.

There were many cockroaches and the place was messy, drinks were very limited, and the food was basic.
