“i had a very bad experience at this hotel, and i would like to leave a rating based on my experience”

The first day they didn’t give me the room I booked; instead I was handed a room in a different building. It was a dormitory with communal bathrooms and showers, no toilet in the morning, and all night other guests walked and talked while slamming doors. After I complained, they moved me to the hotel I had booked, but not the room I booked—just a different one, and the mattress was dry with springs that rattled. The bathroom was not in the room; it was communal. They show fake faces and fake smiles; I don’t recommend staying there even for 1000 AMD. I paid 97,000 AMD for 3 nights ($270.00 USD) and didn’t get my money’s worth.

Extremely comfortable bed, access to washing machine and clothes airer, air-con in bedroom, bathroom upstairs & downstairs so no problem if one was busy, quiet street, 15 mins walk to metro station, 1/2 walk to Republic Square; although there was no reception staff on site, Anna was v helpful on Whatsapp several times. It cost us only 1000 dram on a GG taxi back to Kilikia bus station

The place was spotless and had every convenience; walking to the city center takes 20 minutes, the staff were polite and always reachable, and a friendly local cat added a pleasant touch. It was pricey, but we can compare it to other options, so the cost is justified, especially since breakfast is included.

I really liked the host or manager—I'm not sure which—he was accommodating, attentive, and responsive. He kept the house in order: a broken shower was fixed quickly, the hostel was quiet with no one making noise, the common areas were clean, the bedding was white, towels were clean, the mattress was comfortable, and the room stayed tidy. I didn’t realize at first that this was a hostel; I thought it was a hotel where everyone had their own bathroom, so I feared a queue. In the end it was fine. I booked after 9 pm, arrived around midnight, but had to pay as if for a full day. It was a bit, but they didn’t accommodate and insisted on full‑day payment for a few hours. I’m not sure if this is common practice—I haven’t encountered it elsewhere. Other than that, everything was good.

The only plus was the staff. The minus was the lack of cleanliness, especially in the bathrooms and toilets. Breakfast was delivered around 10 am, which was definitely too late. We slept one night in their property, then were moved to another location, which was quite odd and uncomfortable.
