“Great staff, clean and comfortable. Not recommended for a main holiday but ok for a stopover”
I had mixed feelings about this place. I booked it as a last‑minute stop before heading home; it was the only spot available, pricier than the others I’d booked on the trip, but I hoped for a treat. The bed was very cozy, the room was clean, and the AC worked well. Breakfast was fantastic, and the pool looked nice. The staff were excellent—helpful, friendly, and cheerful. But the overall vibe felt off. The building’s design seemed off, like a motel with many rooms facing a busy main road. The room décor was questionable; though clean, it started to look worn. Someone prioritized style over function, leading to odd choices: the toilet was unventilated next to the bed, with a washbasin in a separate area; the shower lacked a curtain, its temperature fluctuated, and there was no shelf or extractor; plumbing noises from neighboring rooms were audible, especially the flush from the room above; the only clothes hanger was a short rail above shelves, limiting what could be hung; a brightly lit “Exit” sign illuminated the room at night, reflecting off the mirror and shining on me in bed (lol). If I’d chosen this as our main holiday hotel, I would have been disappointed because Samos offers so many beautiful spots and this one falls short.
