Cleanliness. Convenient location

Breakfast was great, though I would have liked more fruit. The room (202) lacked extra toilet tissue and towels. A large window had no full drape over the upper section, letting light spill in at 5:00 am and making it hard to sleep with the early light.

The room was spacious enough for a walker and mobility scooter, and the king‑size bed, though low, was comfortable. The air conditioning kept the temperature pleasant, and breakfast offered scrambled eggs, potatoes, yogurt, orange juice, coffee, and more, with a small refrigerator and kitchen. The property advertised a mobility‑accessible room with a high toilet seat, adaptive handrails, and a walk‑in shower, but the room we received had only one handrail at the toilet, a toilet that was too low for my disabled husband, and a shower with black marks, gray dust, and dirt. The kitchen had burnt food in the drip pans, garbage in the sink drain, and a missing light fixture over the dining table with capped wires hanging down. Dirty finger marks were on the white interior wood shutters, and the woodwork at the desk was all banged up. I reported these issues to the female manager serving breakfast at 9:00 am, hoping to avoid being blamed for the damage. She blamed maintenance for unfinished caulking and the dirty room, saying that maintenance would finish the work on the 27th if we didn’t mind. I agreed, thinking the problems would be resolved, and stayed another night, but nothing changed. We cut our stay short and left a day early after a spider the size of a quarter invaded the bathroom; the spider didn’t survive its war wounds from a size‑6 shoe.

The location was good, but the hotel needs updating.

The room’s appearance was nice, the temperature was comfortable, and the fridge was good. The receptionist was pleasant. The view of the hotel was very nice. However, the bed mattresses squeaked when I tried to sit or turn over, the walls were cracked and needed better painting, the air conditioner made noises, and dogs barked next door. There were black stains on the couch, so I couldn’t sit there, and the bathroom was old and poorly maintained. The sink didn’t drain; I filled it with hot water and a gob of black hair came out, which was disgusting.
