The room was modern and spacious. Lunch was extensive and fresh. The reception was large with plenty of check‑in options, and there was ample storage in wardrobes. The marble floor and electric controls were nice. The restroom was tidy. The bar offered coffee, tea, and bottled water. Nearby, a cheap restaurant served a variety of satays in a clean neighborhood. There was no sauna or gym in the hotel and the view was limited. Laundry services were very expensive.

The room was lovely and the value matched a luxury hotel. Service standards and facilities had slipped a bit compared to when we stayed several years ago. Breakfast wasn’t available in the Club Lounge and the main restaurant was somewhat chaotic.

Everything was amazing! The property felt grand and luxurious, yet the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The staff were exceptionally friendly and genuinely went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, which was especially appreciated since it was our first time in China and can feel a bit intimidating at first. Their kindness and attentiveness made a wonderful first impression and helped us settle in. We couldn’t have asked for a better welcome! The only thing we could point out was that the rooftop bar was closed on the evening we wanted to visit. We tried ordering drinks at the restaurant downstairs instead, but the only option available was wine, and even our first choice wasn’t available, so there was a little back and forth. Nothing major, though! We’d just been looking forward to relaxing in the lounge with a fruity cocktail. 🍹
