The location is excellent; I recommend it for a few nights. The area is very quiet and well connected. The window is frosted and cannot be opened, so you can’t see outside.

1. It’s within 5 minutes of Mino Station. 2. There are two supermarkets and an izakaya and a pizza place nearby, great for late‑night snacks. 3. There’s no subway around the accommodation, so sleeping was very comfortable. 4. The price is ridiculously cheap; even though it’s not a capsule, being able to stay at this cost is a huge advantage. Honestly, that alone covers any minor drawbacks. 1. There’s no washer inside, so you have to use a coin‑laundry shop 5 minutes away, which is a bit disappointing… but there is a dryer, so you can save on dryer fees. 2. Towels can’t be exchanged (you have to wash them yourself), no disposable toothpaste, toothbrush or razor is provided (but I personally prefer using my own, so it’s fine).

I stayed in Minowa near the station, surrounded by a friendly local community and noticeably fewer tourists than usual. The hotel itself was solid and comfortable, though nothing particularly remarkable.

If you’re staying for a week, you’ll have to wash your own towels and there’s no natural ventilation.

Great value, spotless and handy—tiny but everything you need.
