This magical property sits in an old historic building that survived earthquakes and other disasters, has been restored beautifully, and the stairs to the loft feel like Alice in Wonderland. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the bathroom towels were nice, and the room had a gorgeous SMEG refrigerator/freezer. Maria and her husband welcomed us with genuine Greek hospitality, making me feel at home. Thank you so much, Maria, and I was glad to meet your husband and daughter and appreciate your help with the luggage. I didn’t like having to leave, and I wanted to stay a couple of days longer.

The hosts were very friendly, the place was beautifully and lovingly furnished, and overall it was very comfortable—truly something special. The air conditioning was weak; with the outside temperature around 33 °C, the apartment was very, very warm, even at night.

The bedroom was very well decorated and the breakfast offered a very tasty variety. The street was noisy, and the parking spot was expensive with tourist rates.
