“Обманщики!”
We never reached the accommodation; when we arrived, the staff claimed that a bed in our room was broken and that they had no other rooms with two separate beds, so they transferred us to another hotel (which turned out to be the same price we booked, but with only one bed). We insisted on two separate beds, were offered to stay one night in a single‑bed room and then move to a double‑bed room, and we agreed. A young man escorted us to the room and handed us over to another young man who checked us in. We arranged to leave our suitcases in the room the next morning so the hotel could move them to the double‑bed room. The next day we returned from a tour in the evening, and our suitcases were still at the reception. When asked what was happening, the boy at reception said, “You’re leaving, you’re only staying one night.” We began to sort things out, wasting time and nerves. They again offered us some “one‑night here, then you’ll move” options and blah‑blah‑blah. In short, they are scammers! They list rooms in a promoted hotel on Booking, but when guests arrive, they start assigning them to neighboring non‑promoted hotels to pad their inventory and make money. We left and went to the old town to find a hotel, which we found with help, thank you all.
