Hotel 81 Gold

“It was overall great!”

The whole facility was great and the staff were excellent, especially Ameera and Salma; the only downside was the extra surcharge on the price.

The staff were friendly, and that’s all I had to say.

“Recomand pentru un sejur scurt!”

Personalul a fost extraordinar!! Ne au ținut bagajele și asta ne a ajutat enorm!!. Dacă ești backpacker, este excelent, dacă vii cu 2 trolere și 2 ghiozdane…cam greut, camera este foarte mică, dar pentru o noapte, 2 îți faci treaba

“I would recommend it only for a short stay, and only if you can get a good deal.”

The hotel sits in a very budget‑oriented suburb, and overall it didn’t live up to what I’d expect in Singapore; the room is extremely small, with barely enough space for one person to walk around the bed, as both sides of the bed are against the walls, making it feel cramped, especially when you have luggage; the staff were not very welcoming or friendly—when I tried to chat with them, they seemed uninterested, often busy looking at screens or talking on their personal phones, which gave a non‑welcoming vibe; the bathroom needs better maintenance, with visible mould growth on the tiles above shoulder height and mould in the grout at the bottom of the bathroom; on the bright side, the cleaning staff do a good job with regular cleaning, and the room was generally kept clean; overall, I feel the hotel could improve significantly in terms of room space, staff hospitality, and bathroom maintenance.
