The price was fine, but the place felt like a DIY apartment. The host didn’t supply toilet paper, and the latch on the “door” to my “room” jammed so I had to use a screwdriver to get out. I slept on the top bunk and the pillows were so thin that I ended up with a bruised neck and can’t move without pain.

She stole money from us. Even though I never stayed there, she charged us for the stay and then added a cancellation fee, so we paid twice for a room we never used. If you’re into sleeping in a box, go ahead and book with her. The listing on bookings.com made it look like a hotel or motel, but it was actually a room in someone’s plywood house.

Everything was great. Lydia made sure we were fed the whole time we stayed there and was really hospitable with my kids and me. I would definitely stay there again.
