“Disappointing and adequate but not great value at £200”
The place was clean and spacious, but noisy neighbours, no facilities or service, and only one part‑time staff member checking in guests made it feel more like a B&B with mostly unmanned rooms, even though the site’s details and reviews suggested a full hotel with a restaurant and all the usual amenities; the location also meant I had to take a taxi to get to a restaurant.
“We had a very pleasant stay and would stay at this hotel again.”
The hotel is full of character, and using the garden from the bar was a treat; the walk into Bournemouth town is pleasant and not far away, whether by the sea or along the tree‑lined roads, and there was nothing to complain about.

The accommodation was immaculately clean and very stylish, and after staying a few times I’ve never been disappointed; the staff were welcoming and very friendly, the breakfast was great, and free parking is always an added bonus. I did find the pillows a little hard, but that’s just my preference for feather pillows.
From the moment I arrived until breakfast, the staff were incredibly attentive, and there was nothing I could dislike about the stay.

Room was lovely as was Bathroom. We left our car in the Hotel car park and enjoyed walking to bus stop and exploring Bournmouth, Sandbanks ,Poole, Swanage,Corf castle and Christchurch by open top bus using our National bus pass. A great way to explore the area and help the environment.Buses are regular and can be caught 5 mins walk from the Hotel.The beaches were amazing for walking along and Harry Ramsdens fish and chips by the pier was a treat!!. Nothing really. If ordering a full english breakfast I would ask for 2 sausages and 2 pieces of bacon otherwise it seems a little small.Black or white pudding would also be nice.Omlette was not on the menu but it was made for me when I asked.Thank you! Will definitely return!!!
