This spot is perfect for catching some sleep before a flight—it's close to the airport, very quiet, and spotless. The owner is polite and kind, and they served tea and breakfast each morning. Thanks a lot!
The host was very helpful, the room was clean, and there’s a laundry facility right in the house.
The host was friendly, but he hadn’t prepared for our arrival (the booking was made well before we got there), and we arrived at 3 am after landing (the message warning us was unanswered). We paid 4650 Roupies (about $15), which is a bit high… especially since he wouldn’t give us change right away (first time in the country, a bit scary), and he came back later to take the AC remote because it wasn’t included in the price… So, if you’re just passing through Negombo, maybe consider staying the night. The room was full of ants/insects on the floor.
The location is great, right between the airport and the bus station, and there's a nice restaurant nearby. The room was comfortable and clean enough for my needs.
