“Great location, beautiful outdoor areas”
The hotel’s location is absolutely wonderful, right next to the medieval city and within easy walking distance to town; the beds are really comfortable and the bathroom boasts twin sinks, a shower, and a bath; the garden and pool area look lovely, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the hotel dog adds a touch of French charm. However, the room was very dark, making it hard to see what you’re looking for, and there was no full‑length mirror; the food could be much better—microwave‑heated pasta in a jar is not what you expect at this standard, and breakfast was below average; I found better produce at the local boulangerie and market; if you’re planning to stay here in late September and aren’t attending the music festival, be aware that the bar stays open to the public until 5am and the pool area can be noisy during the day, so the hotel should let non‑festival guests know about this.
