The hotel’s location close to the city center is a plus. The room I stayed in only had small skylights, making it feel more like a chapel or a prison.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the location is great, the parking is good, and the breakfast was lovely. The building looks shabby; our room needed fresh paint and new blinds, and it seems the whole structure could use some interior and exterior redecorating.

The location, cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. We loved the breakfasts and evening meals. A very vibrant sunny weekend when we stayed. We really liked the property and found nothing to dislike. If we were being very picky the step outside our room wobbles underfoot

The location is great and it’s very quiet at night.

I spent three nights here and the spot on Church Green was perfect, just a two‑minute stroll to the main street and only twelve minutes from Clarkesons pub; the staff were super friendly and helpful, and the food was excellent. No negatives.
