The place is amazing, like a fairytale. It’s beautifully maintained right in the middle of the medieval city, has great facilities, and the beds are comfy. Nothing else to note.

Ardamis, nestled in Monemvasia’s historic stone town, offers spacious, air‑conditioned suites with stone arches, wooden floors and hand‑picked furnishings. Each unit opens onto a balcony or patio with garden, sea or mountain vistas, and a veranda provides panoramic sea views. Highlights include an 800‑year‑old well, hydromassage showers, hammam, free Wi‑Fi, and a beach just 30 m away.

The room was amazing because it was designed to preserve the history of the building and its surroundings. The staff were attentive and very welcoming. The town itself offered plenty of restaurants, shops, and sites to visit and learn more about the Monemvasia area. The road construction outside the hotel’s control made the parking relatively close. I’d suggest packing lightly since you’ll have to walk to the castle gate and through several streets and stairs.

What a place! The building is stunning, with exquisite décor, high‑quality materials, and a balcony offering a fantastic view. The host is genuinely cheerful. The mini‑bar offers juices, soft drinks, and wine, and the bath soaps are top quality. The only thing I’d mention is that the mattress was a bit soft for my taste and the pillows were a bit firm for my wife’s taste, but that’s entirely subjective.

The property is beautiful in a very beautiful village; this was an experience, not just a stay! Everything was as special as promised!!! We had two large suitcases with us, and luckily the hotel sent someone to the gate to help us, which we were extremely grateful for. My advice is to let the staff know when you plan to arrive and message them 10 minutes before you reach the gate— we were only staying one night and we wished we had taken a small bag and left the bigger bags in the car. Nothing else whatsoever.

The spot is great, but like everywhere in Greece, there are steps everywhere.
