North Shore Glamping Camping Laie, Oahu, Hawaii

Because of the rainy weather and the storm, it was hard to give full feedback, but we loved the green surroundings. Overall it was nice, relaxing, and quiet. The bed was comfortable and the couch was enough for my husband and me to enjoy meals and relax. However, we didn’t get to enjoy everything the site offers—like sitting outside at the tables, the grill we saw (not sure if it works), etc.—and we couldn’t socialize with others. There weren’t enough places to hang our wet clothes because of the rain.

The location is very convenient to the local town and Polynesian culture center. Pleasantly surprised that there were 3 or 4 real bathrooms not outhouses or portable bathrooms. Many ants and a few other insects in bathrooms and yurt. Yurt was warm even at night so open the windows and turn on the small fans

“Stayed here with my daughter for a couple days and had plenty of room and loves the vibe”

The vibe of camping feels great, yet the bed is a real comfort. The campsite itself was safe and clean. The only hiccup was the first morning when there was no running water or flushing toilets, which was likely caused by a huge storm that hit in the middle of the night. After that, water was always running, though it was cold, which we actually enjoyed—it was refreshing. The tents get hot as soon as the sun rises, so plan to be out early.

“Great, super easy check in, and clean”

The tent was very nice and clean, with plenty of showers and bathrooms, and the fan and ventilation inside were great! The only downside was that a covered outdoor seating area got a bit wet when it rained, and the chairs outside were damp.
