Because it’s good, I returned right after finishing the Jungle tour.

It’s right on the Malecon; the dorm room stay was super affordable, which was great, but the rooms and linens looked worn.

A solid value for the money.

The check‑in was friendly and they handed me a free towel. The place is extremely old and rundown; the shower was unusable because it was dirty and tiny, and there was no hair dryer even though it was listed. The room had an air‑conditioner that was useful in Iquitos but could get too cold, and there were no blankets. Breakfast was poor—everything was pre‑arranged and left out even though no one was there. Toast was soggy and the omelette was mediocre, but the juice was fine. It sits on the promenade, yet Iquitos itself is just a passing spot and awful. I wouldn't book it again.
