“Great place to stay”
The stay was amazing. We felt right at home; Stelvio is a charming man, super helpful and friendly. We strongly recommend his B&B.
We only stayed one night in the heart of Quartucciu, and the host, Mr. Stelvio, welcomed us into the patronal house with a unique spirit and heart. The room was truly spacious, fully equipped with a private bathroom. The difference a place makes comes from the people you meet, and Stelvio did that from the very first moment. He was ready to serve guests 1000X1000, and we chatted a lot, he gave us plenty of advice, and even accompanied us to a cheese factory to buy the cheeses I wanted to bring home. And then the breakfast… SUPER! Just like Mr. Stelvio! So thank you from the heart for your stories, your time, your advice, and for treating us like old friends. See you next year, dear Stelvio.
The place, the cleanliness, the welcome, and the first breakfast made by Stelvio, an exceptional person… a family atmosphere and a calm environment.
Everything was great.
“Fermatevi qui.”
The salty breakfast was generous, finally! A true bed and breakfast, meaning a bed and breakfast. You can also choose a sweet breakfast. It’s quiet and you’ll sleep well. The room has air conditioning. The bathroom is very spacious and clean. It’s in the historic center of Quartucciu, close to the street you take to head toward the 554. A real lived-in house, Stelvio keeps it alive and fresh and takes care of guests. The parking is very difficult, but we found a dirt area not far from that alley. You have to make a small ramp of stairs, there’s obviously no elevator, so if you have very heavy luggage it’s not convenient. The old furniture is uncomfortable (like the mirror that’s low) but it’s part of the house; it’s fair not to throw them away but to keep using them, otherwise resources are wasted. The electrical outlets are inconvenient, they’re behind the dresser and nightstand, they’re actually extension cords. The switches for the rooms like the hallway and kitchen are in strange places.
