“Que sitio tan especial.”
The view of Lake Titicaca was spectacular, and the host Don Andres was very kind and attentive, also acting as our guide.

From the moment you sign the contract, the view is wonderful, the comfort is superb, everything is very clean and organized.

The room was spacious and the breakfast very tasty, but my room was on the lower floor, rather dark and quite cold. The hot shower worked only the first night and after a couple of days I gave up on telling the staff. The other guests on the same floor told me they had the same issue. The breakfast and dining room is far from welcoming, just a large, cold and open space with a few long tables put in the middle. Dinner was the same plate every night and not worth the price. The way to the center of Puno was longer than advertised and taxis, even Uber, are difficult to get and don't come cheap.

The landscape has a good view, but there was no TV.

The host is a genuinely kind person and cooks dinner himself. It was very tasty and with vegetables! He speaks good English and has great knowledge of the area, you can chat with him for hours. He also makes sure you feel comfortable. Video streaming worked fine with the Wi‑Fi (there was a brief 5‑minute outage in the morning). There is a garage that fits one car and three motorcycles (very secure). The rooms open directly into the common area. If it’s busy that might be disruptive (I was the only guest that day, so it wasn’t a problem).
