“The Duck Inn~Please do!!”

We chose The Inn because we loved its central location in Hyannis during our last trip to The Cape, and it’s a short walk to shopping, dining, and drinks. Sonny and Zee, the owners, were extremely hospitable during check‑in. I accidentally booked two rooms, and when my name appeared for registration I felt embarrassed; Sonny kindly cancelled the extra room without charging me, which I appreciated. Their private parking lot was a nice bonus, letting us leave the car there while we explored early in the day before heading to Truro. No complaints from me, and I definitely recommend this fine, friendly place. The only downside was the coffee in the room—nothing special, as I’ve never had good coffee in a hotel or motel.

“NEVER stay here!”

We asked if there was a bathtub and there was – but it had no plug in the drain. The AC was broken. The furniture was awful, especially the one uncomfortable desk chair. We requested a king‑size bed and were told the room was a king room, yet the bed was a queen size on a king‑size frame, forcing us to crawl over the metal frame that protruded on both sides to reach the bed. The ceiling was flaking paint or plaster onto the floor and the whole place felt dingy. When we tried to leave a day early, nobody was there and the office was locked.

“Te mijden”

The location was good, but it was more expensive than our other stays on Cape Cod and far worse. There was a lot of noise at night, and the place felt very dated and in need of a serious renovation. The room was cramped and, because of its poor condition, we found it dirty. Luckily we only stayed one night. I just don’t understand the rating of 8.

“Cape Cod Inn Stay Exceptionally Fantastic!”

The gentleman who checked us in was very helpful and accommodating. The room was a lot bigger than I expected and was extremely clean. The bed was also very comfortable.
