Nothing was good; I was charged $284 (~392k NGN) for a 30‑day stay, but on arrival the manager doubled the price to 720k NGN and later that evening pushed it to 860k NGN; I was denied check‑in because the manager gave the booked room to another guest for the first two nights, forcing my partner to find other accommodation; the area is unsafe—my partner was harassed by army personnel the next day—and when I asked for a refund to leave for safety, the host flatly refused.

This hotel has a lot going for it - the cleanliness and comfort level are top-notch, and the staff do their best to keep things running smoothly, even when the power's out. The outdoor bar area is a real highlight, with great music and a relaxed vibe. But, be warned, the smallest rooms are seriously tiny - not ideal for a hotel.
