“A gorgeous cycling-friendly B&B and cafe worth visiting”
My mum and I absolutely loved staying at Sophie’s stunning B&B in the peaceful village of Hampsthwaite; the twin room was bright, spotless and cozy, featuring a spacious corner bath and shower with charming views over the garden and the fields beyond the village. Parking was free and convenient right outside the B&B – if that spot was taken you could just park along the roadside. Breakfast was amazing, offering a wide range of options from a full English to poached eggs and avocado on toast, and the place seemed to be a popular local café that was also very friendly to cyclists. Sophie herself was wonderfully welcoming, and I’d gladly return. Thank you.
“Perfect”
The stay was absolutely wonderful; Sophie was incredibly kind and hospitable, we enjoyed the food, the atmosphere, and the room was very comfortable. Nothing else to add.
The space was lovely and the host great, but a warning: if you arrive on Sunday – as we did – you can’t get dinner in the village because the pub closes at 5 pm.
“Lovely comfort in Yorkshire”
Everything was presented nicely, but I had a fussy comment that local walking options would be nice if they were to hand.
“Lovely overnight visit to a beautiful place with a lovely host!”
Sophie was so welcoming and the B&B was lovely; breakfast was great – we had a really great stay! Nothing else to say.
