“We were being lied to about conditions. I consider this a form of scam.”
Despite the poor conditions, the receptionist did her best to manage the situation and was genuinely kind, unlike the hotel owner. She helped us with directions and was overall very nice. I booked for three people, but they assigned me a room for two, saying they had no rooms for three even though that option is listed. They also demanded an extra 10 € for a bonus bed that barely fits. Initially they refused to provide a third pillow, blanket, and towel, claiming those come with the third bed. This was very frustrating because I paid the full price for three people yet was treated as if I paid for only two. The owner was rude, telling me that if I’m just looking for trouble, they can refund me so I can find another hotel. The equipment is not in good condition either. At one point an umbrella fell into the pool, and no staff was around to remove it, so I had to do it myself. There are also small children in the pool, which is dangerous. I spent a lot of time arguing with the owner (at least two hours), which was unpleasant.
