Overall the property is beautiful and cleaner than most hotels I’ve stayed at. They were so friendly here we left a jacket and were able to return a week later to pick it up from the employee who was holding it for us. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this property

The location is decent, near a nice bakery, and the rooms are stylish. But the stay was pricey for a place that offered no concierge; it felt more like a fancy Airbnb. We never saw a staff member. We were on the 3rd floor and, of course, there are no elevators. Parking was limited, and if you miss a spot you’re stuck with street parking. The shower was a tiny corner one with a curtain so close it almost touches you. The labels on the soap dispensers were worn away, so you couldn’t tell what they were. Leaving the shower door cracked would trigger the fire alarm from the steam (you’re not supposed to have a fire alarm that close to a bathroom). They market the hotel as a “Digital detox” with no TVs in the rooms, but it feels like a way to cut costs by not buying TVs. Breakfast was underwhelming: just some overnight oats, underripe fruit, and straight apple cider vinegar “shots.” The ice machine didn’t work either. On top of that, they claimed not to have my contact information and left my check‑in info (with the door code) taped to the front door even though I’d received emails and texts from them before. Overall, I was extremely disappointed. I usually like smaller boutique hotels, but this one missed the mark. I’d have preferred an established chain.

The decor is beautiful and has a nice artistic vibe, thoughtfully curated, which we really appreciated because we love interior design and art. I would have liked more personal interaction from the host. Breakfast was almost empty. I guess many people prefer no contact, but I like people and would have loved more interaction with the host. It’s more helpful to get the lay of the land and find special places to go from talking with the host rather than relying on reviews and the internet.
