The place was shut down.
This is a working office. According to their claims, they had reported it to Booking a million times. The lady who works there is actually very nice.
“Nichts, da das Hostel gar nicht existiert”
Nothing, because the hostel doesn’t exist at all.
“Átverés”
When I arrived, the door was already closed. Even after knocking, it didn’t open. The windows were covered, and the whole place felt abandoned. I knocked for half an hour with no response. I called the phone number listed on Booking, but the line was disconnected. This feels like a small scam.
“Hostel ne postoji, bila i uverila se”
The hostel no longer exists and I don’t understand why Booking hasn’t removed it from the site. Don’t make the same mistake I did and end up in a situation where you’ve paid online in advance but find no place to stay when you arrive.
