The property is decent, though it feels overpriced given the facilities; the management was sluggish and poor at arranging small things like a cab or making the room infant‑friendly, yet the serving staff were fantastic and the bartender did a great job with limited resources.

The location and grounds were pretty nice, I'll give them that. But that's where it ends. The room cleaning was basically nonexistent over 11 nights - our sheets got changed once, and only because I asked. Sometimes there was one robe, sometimes there wasn't even that. And for a five-star hotel, getting one towel was pretty stingy. Everywhere was dusty and dirty, and it seemed like they'd just sweep the dust onto the floor instead of actually cleaning.

The pool and spa facilities are definitely a highlight, and the food is fresh and tasty, with a good variety of options. That being said, I was a bit concerned by the number of stray dogs roaming around the resort, especially on the beach and in the immediate area - some of them seemed pretty aggressive, which wasn't ideal.

The location is great, and the beach at the back of the resort is really nice. That being said, I think housekeeping could use a bit of work - the room didn't feel super clean, and I had to ask for some extra attention.
