The place is clean, the staff are friendly, and the soaking tub is great. The rooms are tiny. The second floor hosts a restaurant that opens into sinks and a few private rooms, so privacy can be an issue when it’s busy. The facilities feel a bit overpriced, but everything is tidy and the staff are very helpful.

The room is small but cozy, and there’s a drying room where you can dry wet ski clothes and gloves. The hotel offers shuttle service to Yoho Tōzē; just let them know your Shinkansen arrival time and they’ll arrange it. The staff are very friendly, the Thai restaurant is tasty, the menu isn’t huge but the rice is excellent. The bathroom is big enough for the whole family to bathe together. It was our first time sleeping on a tatami, so we asked the staff for help setting it up; a few warm tips would have been nice. Walking to Nakari Ski Resort takes about 5 minutes, and the ski area is right across Nakari Station, which is very convenient. Looking forward to staying again next year. The room only has a floor cushion; a back‑rested tatami chair would be better.

The accommodation is close to the ski field, the staff are cute and give great information. It was my first time sleeping in a ryokan, where you have to lay out the futon yourself and the pillows and bedding feel like old Japanese style, which caused back and neck pain.
