“Pensavo meglio”
The accommodation was very quiet, on the road from Lienz to Heiligenblut, outside the town. The bed was comfortable, perfect for a single overnight stop. The owner was very kind and helpful. Booking didn’t show any bathroom photos, and after the free cancellation period had ended, the host told me the bathroom was “compact” and that there was a shower on the common floor with other rooms. It was a camper‑style 70 cm × 120 cm room with a shower stall, sink and toilet. When I used the toilet I had to keep the door open and the sink was positioned under my right armpit. If I’d known earlier I wouldn’t have booked, and it’s unfair to warn me after the cancellation penalty applied. During my 3‑night stay the bed was never made, I only received one towel even though I paid €139 per day for room and breakfast. I didn’t take photos.
