The hotel in Bình Thạnh is close to the city center, so getting around is convenient. On that day I checked into a room on the M floor, which was quite dark and had no windows. At night, mosquitoes were also a problem.

The staff were great, especially Nhu, and everyone else was helpful. The location is amazing and you get good value. WiFi was usually fine but sometimes spotty around 8 PM. Because it’s a budget hotel, temper expectations. Avoid the M room—it costs more, is bigger, but suffers from serious noise and light pollution; guests checking in between 12–1 AM often wake you up, and you can hear them walking above. The staff there weren’t helpful. Sometimes the neighbors are just loud and inconsiderate—luck of the draw. The M room also has a big mosquito issue because the window is broken. Stay on the 3rd floor for the best experience.

The hotel is within a short walk to Gia Dinh and Ung Buou hospitals, which was convenient for my needs. Nearby services include laundry, a hair salon, and a café. The staff were lovely and the bed was comfortable. However, the room I received didn’t match the photos; both rooms were tiny, had no windows, and lacked sound isolation. I could hear every outside noise. The bathroom door couldn’t be closed from the outside and there’s a large hole connecting the AC pipe to the next room, so conversations from the adjacent room were audible. Mosquitoes were plentiful if the AC wasn’t on.
